How North Korea Will Be?

Can you imagine how North Korea change?

From now on, I will mention the future of North Korea.
Since 1953, right after the Korean War, the government has been communism.
The economy could not be developed at a good pace.
Communism seems like a perfect ideology, but there are upper and lower class.
What an unfair ideology! It should be corrected, like into classified communism.
So, I think they should make a change. It's time to accept capitalism and innovate their society.
My opinion is a kind of unification.
But it must be processed slowly.
Not like Germany. They suffered for decades to recover East Germany.
We should exchange materials, culture, economy system, language, and official govern system.
People of South Korea should pay more taxes, called unification tax.
The slower the exchange goes on, the less burden that South people have to undertake.
What I want to say is this. We have to be unified peacefully looking future far ahead.
Two Koreas can be poor about 20 or more years after the unification, but unified Korea can really
strong and developed country.
If resource of North Korea and the capital and technology of South Korea put together,
there will be significant effect that every world would be surprised. ""The Second Miracle""
(Han river's miracle is the first)
Pyoungyang will be second Seoul which will be well organized.

I don't think it's easy work, but if we try hard and steady, we can make another miracle.
I do hope unified Korea will be one of the strongest countries in the world, like U.S., Germany, and Japan.

This is the future of North Korea that I imagine.
How do you think about this?
Leave a comment ^_^.

National Anthem of North Korea

verse 1.

Let morning shine on the silver and gold of this land,
Three thousand leagues packed with natural wealth.
My beautiful fatherland.
The glory of a wise people
Brought up in a culture brilliant
with a history five millennia long.
Let us devote our bodies and minds
to supporting this Korea forever.

verse 2.

Embracing the atmosphere of Mount Baekdu,
Nest for the spirit of labour,
The firm will, bonded with truth,
Will go forth to all the world.
The country established by the will of the people,
Breasting the raging waves with soaring strength.
Let us glorify forever this Korea,
Limitlessly rich and strong.

North Korea Fires Rockets at Island

Will there be a war? North Korea fires rockets at Yeonpyoung island. I think this is a political provocation.
South Korean government should react more strictly. Our marines died and so did villagers!
North Korea has responsibility and have to apologize.

North Korea fired artillery rockets at a South Korean island near a disputed western maritime border Tuesday, in a clash that killed two South Korean marines and set numerous buildings on fire.
A South Korean military unit on the island, called Yeonpyeong, returned fire, while military officials scrambled fighter jets. In addition to the deaths, at least 16 more were injured, military officials said. Three civilians were injured, and the island's 1,200 residents were sent scrambling for bomb shelters.

The attack comes after relations soured dramatically between the two Koreas over the past two years, as North Korea's authoritarian regime became angered at South Korea's decision to cut off economic assistance unless it ends its pursuit of nuclear weapons.
North Korea fired artillery shells at buildings on a South Korean island, prompting an exchange of fire. North Korea's official media had said nothing about the artillery incident by Tuesday evening.
"The attack is a sheer act of provocation. Moreover, shooting indiscriminately on civilians cannot be forgiven," said Hong Sang-pyo, spokesman for South Korean President Lee Myung-bak. "Our military reacted immediately according to our combat rules. We will act sternly against any more provocation. North Korea should take the responsibility for this."
The U.S. condemned the attack and called on North Korea to "halt its belligerent action." "The United States is firmly committed to the defense of our ally, the Republic of Korea, and to the maintenance of regional peace and stability," the White House press secretary said in a statement, referring to South Korea by its formal name.

Smoke billowed from Yeonpyeong island near the border against North Korea on Tuesday.

BUT, don't worry. There will not be a war. North Korea is just having a financial problem, and they want money from us. So, I would call them "robbers".

R U Hungry??

Characteristic of North Korean Food

North Korean food is usually big and abundant, because it is influenced by land. Summer is short, and winter is long. So, food in North Korea isn't salty, greasy, and spicy.
They are different regionally, and now I will talk about some of them.

Food in Pyungyang
When it comes to Pyungyang, Pyungyang cold noodles and Dae-dong River gray mullet broth are the most famous food.
Pyungyang cold noodles mixed meat broth and Dongchimi are soft because they're made of buckwheat, so people used to eat it in the next morning for relieving hangovers.
Also, Dae-dong River gray mullet broth is a clear and nutritious broth, and it has clean and plain taste. And pyungyang is also famous for Pyungyang-on-ban, Pyungyang fish porridge, Gal-bi, roasted eel.

Famous Places of North Korea

I would like to introduce some famous tourist spots in North Korea. There are many interesting places,
but I will show you just three of them.
These are Mt. Geum-gang, Ok-ryu-gwan, and Mt. Baek-du.

First one is Geum-gang Mountain. It is also called the Diamond mountains.
about 40km east to west, about 60km north to south, (about 530 ㎢).
You can see many landscapes, such as twelve thousand peaks, Man-mool-sang, etc.
It is called differently as season changes. Geum-gang for spring, Bong-rae for summer, Poong-ak for autumn, and Gae-gol for winter.

These are pictures of Geum-gang Mountain.

The second one is Ok-ryu-gwan.
Ok-ryu-gwan is a restraurant which is famous for cold noodle in Pyung-yang. Il-sung Kim who was the first head of North Korea has visited the restaurant frequently. Its noodle tastes very special and delicious. The unique flavor of the noodle made people to come and eat.

The last one is Mt. Baek-du.
Baek du mountain(2744m, from the sea level) is the highest mountain in Korea. As you know, Han-ra mountain(1950m, from the sea level) is the highest one in South Korea, but it is much higher than Han-ra.
The meaning of Baek-du is "PURE and HUGE(baek for pure, du for huge)".

Also, it is considered as a legendary mountain in a long time. There are many stories about it like "Tiger of Mt.Baek-du", "Dragon of Chun-ji(lake on the top of the mountain)". We, koreans honored it as a root of our spirit. It's the starting point of Baek-du-dae-gan which is the spine of Korea. Baek-du-dae-gan begins at Mt. Baek-du, and ends at Ji-ri mountain. Some people insist that it ends at Mt. Han-ra(Jeju Island), but there is no certain evidence. You can visit here just through China, but I really hope that we will be able to go there through Korea. I mean not through North Korea, but through Unified Korea.

Let me show some pic.s of Mt. Baek-du.

 I think that tiny cute monster is C.G. LOL;;;;;;

The Flag Of The North Korea

It is called "In Gong Gi" in South Korea, and "Gong Hwa Gook Gook Gi" in North Korea.
From the top, it has blue, red, blue color. And between them, there are two white stripes.
Rate of them; blue : white : red : white : blue = 6 : 2 : 17 : 2 : 6.
In the red stripe, there is a red star which is in the white circle.
The red color represents a revolutionary spirit of communism, the red star is construction of communism,
white circle means balance of yin and yang, blue stripe refers the hope of its people for peace,
and thin white line, traditional color, represents the bright future.
